What are food additives?
They are substances that are intentionally added to food and beverages with the aim of modifying and improving their physical properties, flavors, conservation, etc... There are some additives that are safe, but others are harmful to health and we consume them regularly in the food.
The codes can be found on the product labels, formed by the letter E and a three or four digit number.
